Kunak villagers need new bridge

Kampung Sungai Langgas is in need of a new bridge to replace the existing one which has been found to be defective as it had caused the river to overflow several times.
Assemblyman, Datuk Nilwan Kabang said he was unaware of the problem until the village chief there informed him.

He said this after his personal observation of the bridge where he noticed a log clogging the flow of water during his visit to the village, accompanied by its headman, Omar Sahi.

According to Nilwan, the issue would be discussed with the District Officer and related departments to apply for special allocation to build a new bridge.
